Rogue Wave New Album - Permalight

With the new album being released this month, the album in it's entirety has been released for a listen. Personally, I am having issues with their new sound. It's not that I expect them to just put out the same stuff from their previous albums, but why the new change? I enjoyed the slow and sweet sounds of 2005’s Descended Like Vultures and the deep rhythms of 2007’s Asleep At Heaven’s Gate.

It seems the switch to a more pop sound is a reflection of where they are now. It hasn't turned me off of them, just a new type of Rogue Wave to get adjusted it to.
