As i travel, one of the first things i check out are the local radio stations. its more of a jealousy thing. (Is this town cooler than mine) Jump into the rental and start scanning stations.
Stop the scanning when I hear The Cure. I know. you'd think i heard "friday im in love" or "pictures of you". What i heard was "bloodflowers" which i haven't heard in a long time.
What i found was FM 94.9
From the airport to the hotel i heard:

Beck
The Hold Steady
Not bad San Diego. you rock a decent radio station.
